Homesong plays the music files you give it, on your iPhone and Mac. This is the privacy policy for the Homesong apps and for your Homesong shelf.

To run your account and play your music: the contract between you and us. To keep the service secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest. To keep accounting records: a legal obligation.
We do not use your music, your listening or your kids screen choices for advertising, profiling or training any model, and we do not sell or rent your data.
The apps contain no advertising, no analytics and no tracking tools from other companies. Homesong does not track you across other apps or websites. Some providers may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards, such as the UK's international data transfer agreements.
We keep your account and shelf while you have them. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires, usually six years. Operational logs are removed within 90 days.
Homesong is a way to play your records. It is not a backup. Keep your originals.
You can delete your Homesong account in the app: Settings, then Delete account. This removes only the music side — your shelf, music files, favourites, playlists, kids screen choices and Homesong plan details. Your riri.ink email mailbox, if you have one, is a separate service and is not deleted; manage it at riri.ink/settings. You can also email us and we will delete your Homesong data within 30 days.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to some uses. Email privacy@riri.ink. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
You must be 13 or over to have an account. A child can use the kids screen on a grown-up's account; there is no separate account for a child.
We will update this page if what the apps do changes, and change the date above.
